It makes a great packing "Backer ROD" for our boxed products, which we cut to fit our many size packaging boxes, that helps in shipping, preventing damage! We also purchase the 1.5" x 72" rod from you as well, we like the "Boxed" product for Shelf keeping!
I've got a wide gap to fill and this 2" backer rod will do the job nicely.

I utilized this as the backer rod in between the 2 concrete slabs between my garage and driveway. Then used another product to seal the expansion joint so the 2 pads wouldn't move further apart, and won't allow water down under my driveway and erode away the dirt. product delivered quickly and worked as expected!
We just had a new bathroom built-in. So I bought these to fill the gaps in-between the new walls and old walls. The people who built the bathroom failed to do so. Looks like I got a size too big so I'm going to cut them in half and squeeze these bad boys right in there and caulking the smaller areas. Excited to try it out.
So I actually bought these to put under our couches, to block kids toys, and balls from rolling under the couch constantly! Not ideal or pretty, but absolutely works. Tuck them under the couch enough so you can't see them, and used duct tape to piece them together, and they're removable to still clean under furniture unlike the adhesive clear types ive seen. I would recommend for anyone with kids and dogs to try this hack!
The expansion joint filler between my garage floor and cement driveway disintegrated, leaving a deep and gap. These backer rods, along with some sealant, work perfect to fill the gap!

I needed this to fill space in mortar work I’m doing.
I needed these noodles to protect our heads and truck doors from banging into the metal edges of the carport from a kit we erected. I simply cut each noodle lengthwise, but only halfway into the noodle, using a serrated kitchen knife, then slid the sliced long sides of the noodles over the edge. They have stayed on in all kinds of weather and have really saved the paint on our truck doors and prevented bruising our heads and faces!
I use these for watch storage. Just cut them to size. Works great
